Pretty happy with this haul. A local tree removal company gives me a call whenever they have something since it saves them the cost of taking it to the dump. Green ash is about the best I can consistently get around here and they said it was about a half cord but judging from the fact that I had to leave a bunch and what I did take was packed in as tight as I could I'm thinking it was a more. Tires were starting to bulge on my one ton though.:) [Hearth.com] Good relations pay off [Hearth.com] Good relations pay off

Good looking stock. You are indeed lucky/ blessed by some free heat.

Our local Aslpundh crew invites followers too and they provide
a good percentage of wood for their regular followers/ scroungers.

They have bulged my tires a few times now. LOL
It's a massive blessing for us broke guys to get some prime splittables free.
I tell them it's SO appreciated.

Edit: I have a regular Dakota scroungemobile and I pressurize to 60psi in the rear tires
when loading up, and they still squish out on a good haul.
