Just thought I'd post some good sized Ash Growth rings. One from a 28" Ash we felled in Jan 09 (stump) and a much smaller one felled in April (cut a fresh cookie off the end for the pic).

Wow. That's some fast growing tree. What's that big one, a 25 year old tree?
 
Looks like it might grow fast enough to beat the emerald ash borer.
 
At that rate, a man should be able to stand in the forest and hear them growing! :lol:
