anyone ever use these? Seems as though they don't hear up the house very well.. Looking at getting a ton of blackstone premium.. Any ideas
I can tell you from first hand experience with green supreme I would never buy them again. Burnt them last year as a new stove owner and made the mistake of getting a ton. They heated the house until it went down into the 30s outside, then the heat was minimal. Terrible ash, clinkers and creasol build up to, had to clean the stove every three days.
Look at the wood pellet reviews page before you buy the blackstone hardwoods a member recently posted a picture of a huge amount of fines he was finding in the bags. What are your other choices?
Strang because green supreme is new england wood pellet, look at your green supreme bag it's says newp product right on the bottom.I'm also looking at New England wood pellets they worked well last year. I have testy Englander, and she is picky... I have 38 bags of the blackstone, maybe 35 of green supreme and if I can get the engalnders then I will get a ton of them

The New England don't seem to put out much heat. Same with the Green Supreme, I burn New Englands when its warmer out. Lignetics, Press to Logs, and this year Fireside Ultras. It's weird because I can't seem to warm

South shore wood pellets in Holbrook ma, pellets direct uxbridge ma, squier lumber monson ma, pellets r us acton ma, robbins garden Oxford ma just to name a few.Any idea who carries them? I'm in massachu

Thanks everyone! It seems as though I need to crank up the heat with these. I came home tonight and it's was 62 in the house. I had it set 1-9 but tonight cranked it to 3-9.. Any suggestions to get more heat?!?
How many square feet you trying to heat? I have a hard time believing its 62 degrees in the same room where the the pellet stove is unless you got a monster room with Cathedral ceilings. How far away from the pellet stove is it 62 degrees?
If the 3-9 is referring to your settings on an Englander stove, I can see why you don't get much heat. You can't get heat from your stove without burning pellets. Crank the feed rate up.I have an open area and the thermostat is in the living room which is about 15 feet away from where the pellet stove is. I have an open area going up to the second floor and it was only 59 up there. This am at 3-9 the thermostat read 64. I have a window by the pellet stove with an unit in there. We insulated it but I'm thinking that might be the culprit as I still feel some air coming in?

I agree with the answer about higher stove settings.I came home tonight and it's was 62 in the house. I had it set 1-9 but tonight cranked it to 3-9.. Any suggestions to get more heat?!?
