I have a Harman P38 that is on its 2nd season and routinely cleaned throughout the year. I'm running an OAK and burning Fireside pellets at the moment, which I've never had a problem with.Yesterday, when the house temp dropped and the stove fired up (it's set to Auto), the auger ran for a while and filled the burn pot like normal. The first started but it's like it wasn't burning pellets fast enough and eventually the pellet pile grew very large in the pot and started spilling over. I had to shut off the stove or it would have kept pushing pellets off the pot all night.
This ever happen to anyone else? The flame is nice and lively but always starts on the left side of the burn pot — the middle and right side only catch fire once the stove has been running for a few minutes. The problem is sometimes (like yesterday) the auger will keep "pump feeding" trying to warm the stove to temp and by that time the middle and right side of the burn pot has overfilled with unburnt pellets.
Also, some more info on the stove: I run feed speed of 4, temp set to about 72, and I'm on Room Temp setting.
I'm open to ideas. Thank you.
