Got our P43 today. Got it home and into the house, dry fit the piping then siliconed the joints, hooked it all up and started her up.

Pros (so far) HEAT and lots of it. House warming nicely. Free ton of Curran softies (Home & Hearth gets $259 for those). Currently burning Greene Team.

Cons-(so far) gotta get used to the fan noise. Fortunately it's about 18 ft from the TV room and around the corner from my computer so it's not really noticable unless you're in the room with it.

Other big pain- My Amazon "guaranteed friday Dec 6 delivery" of my 3301P wireless thermostat and APC BE750G UPS/battery backup didn't show up. Now says Mon the 9th.

Congrats!

Just had our P43 installed last week and loving it :)

Congratulations.
You will get used to the fan noise and the heat

Up and running in time to really give it a workout with a major cold spell. If the fan is disturbing tv viewing turn it down and set to manual so it idles still producing heat. Couple hour movie then crank back up. Fans not that bad. Amazon drop shipper lost my idiot box after they called to make delivery Friday morning. Another week of staring at a 18 inch with temps not getting above zero may create an early case of shack nuts.

Yeah Amazon posted some generic "orders may be delayed 1-2 business days" message. Now I can see if my stuff was coming from west of Texas & the Midwest where the big storm was but it was coming from Richmond, VA to NH.

Fan noise is only really noticeable if we're in the room with the stove. TV is about 18 feet away "around the L shape" in our semi-open floor plan so there it's not even noticed (the 5.1 A/V receiver surround sound helps:)). And the fans in my computer tower make enough noise to cancel out the stove in my den/office.

Been running for 4 hrs now on room temp/manual set about 72, every room downstairs is 71, upstairs 68. 26 outside (feels like 19 w/windchill according to weather app on my desktop). Probably turn it down to 65 overnight.

Congrats on the new stove!

Todays high -8 with the morning low of -21. Ran the Elena for almost 5 hours to keep the Harman in the basement From working to hard. Beats propain.

Congrats on the P43.
I just installed ours and it's awesome!!!

I always see that stove with slotted vents on the front, and the silver trim around the glass. I assume those are add-ons. Or is it another available configuration? How much does that add to the price of the stove?

Yikes. It looks good, but not sure it looks that good.

Congrats on the new stove. What were you heating with before?

Combination of electric baseboard and a old woodstove with a pellet basket in it we used usually Fri thru Sun nites.

Sam

You'll be happy to ease off the electric baseboards but you can use them to even the heat into farthest rooms!
