Simple dog treats- slice organ meat or trimmings into small chunks and dehydrate overnight. This is lung, heart, and some trimmings. Lung dehydrated the best, of course. and Store in zip tops for a few weeks or refrigerate. These didn't last long lol...and didn't taste to bad! [Hearth.com] homemade dehydrator scooby snacks

I have made literally hundreds of pounds of jerky and snack sticks (probably into the 1000 of pounds actually), but never thought of lung jerky.;sick

I'll bet the doggy was pretty happy.

So I have officially figured out that 95% of poster on this forum have 36 hours in "their" days. Because I don't have enough hours in mine to be able to do such things....kids, work, shovel, sleep, shovel........shovel.....

I am jealous!!

I never saw it but I sure believe it. We can't all be filthy rich ;)

A friend of mine has a 75Hp Kubota. It's a tank. He does snow removal with it. The snow removal pays for the tractor and he uses it for personal reasons the other 8 months of the year.

Agreed! 36 cm of snow + 40 mm of rain between Wednesday and yesterday!

And maybe if we didn't get so much snow, I'd have time to smoke meat and make sausages!!! :)
