wELL, AS OF 5-17-06 i AHVE THREE SOLID COORD SPLIT AND STACKED..HOW BOUT YOU ALL?

just over two and after the family leaves in two weeks I am making this a priority. (but of course I'll see if the old man can still stack it!)

gotchya there. I ahve another tree down that needs to be bucked and split..should give me another 3/4 coord at least..My goal is to have 5 coord stacked by the end of June.

4 cords stacked and split, another 2/3 of a cord in rounds that needs to be split. on the lookout for more.

on the lookout? I must be spoiled..I jsut walk behind the house, find an oak or maple and cut it down

About 7 1/2 - 8 split and stacked in the shed. Another 1 1/2 stacked up in rounds waiting for next year to split. I'm much farther ahead than any other year, but will probably keep cutting a few more and just buck them up over the summer.

now thats where I want to be by the end of the summer. I hope to ahve all my this years wood split/stacked by the end of June and keep working on it to get a year ahead

yes, you are spoiled. If I walk behind my house I run into another house (urbo-burner).

8.5 split and stacked, another on the ground needs cutting splitting and stacking. One more (estimate) in a large tree that's on the ground, but I need to get to the guys house to cut up.

None split, unlimited wood avalible on the ground to split. The snow is just now going away, i should be able to start soon.

WOW! jsut starting to go away!

About 6 cords split and stacked for this coming year and about another 6 or 7 in rounds which I'll split in the fall for the following year. All oak, all free!!

thats what I love! I ahve 50 acres of mixed hardwoods but havent had to touch a single tree yet! My buddy and I run a tree service on the side..We fell trees for people..Love it when we are called to do a hardwood! 90% of the time we are actually paid to take the tree away!

6 cords split and stacked. All Oak. Will probably get another 2 or 3 by summers end. Should be enough for the next 2 or 3 years. I like to be at least 1 year ahead on my wood supply.

4 cords cut and stacked for this winter. About 1 in rounds for next year. and about 15 in trees on the ground waiting for me and my husky!!!!!

Mostly cherry, maple, ash, aspen, poplar, red pine, norway spruce. Not all the best wood, but hey, it's free. PLUS I noticed with the current EPA stoves that run hot (500-600), I have little or no build up in my chimney so I do not mind.

Carpniels

what size husky do you have? I just bought a new 357xp with a 20' bar..love that hog..

06-07 heating season wood is cut, split, stacked and drying
There are some pines that I need to get stacked up for the warmer nights but the three solid cord of Red Oak with one Maple (what a treat splitting that) mixed in should be enough for the coming season. If not I will have a pallet of the Biobricks before the end of the Summer. Getting all my wood free, whats another $200 for a pallet of Biobricks?

Working on 07-08 seasons wood

5 cords cut, split, and stacked in the beginning of this month, about 95% red oak, and the other 5% I think is maple (no bark) and that red oak is stinky now that it's gotten a little moist.

Having dealt with 14-16" splits previously it's a pleasure my new unit takes 20" - 24" splits. Previously 4 cords of 14-16" cuts were 3 rows and had to be short. That size lengths are unstable with any sort of height. Now, I have 5 cords, 20" length, and it all fit in only 2 rows as each row is a little bit wider, but I can stack them very high and the piles are rock solid and I think less work than the 4 cords of 14-16" pieces.

a buddy of mine has no less than 15 cord stacked right now.. I may jsut have to find out when he is leaving for a weekend! :)

3.5 cords split and stacked with another 1/2 cord (I think) still in 16" rounds. It's supposed to be cool this weekend so I want to finish splitting and stacking before the weather gets too warm.

I've got around 3 cords split and stacked. I'm figuring my HH contains around 2 - 2.25 cords and I've got another big row of well seasoned (2 yrs), good smelling ;), red oak.

My neighbor split and stacked about 1.5 cords from three or four trees he had taken down, and then put a for sale sign up on his house. I put out a couple feelers to his wife, but so far the word is he's probably taking it with him. She did mention him saying that everything is for sale at some price, so I doubt there is much of a deal to be had. He's just moving a few miles away and will probably need the wood. His wife said they have less trees on the new lot, even though it is bigger.

Anybody hear from the bio-brick man? He said he'd send me a sample and took my shipping address, but that's the last I heard from him. Maybe he got busy. I hate to bug him since I'm beggin' free bricks. No rush, that's for sure. The Missouri summer swelter hasn't even arrived, yet.

So far I've g ot 5 or 6 cords of red oak split and stacked, all free. Still piling up rounds to split, locust and cherry mostly. Always on the lookout for free wood.

2 cut split and stacked. I'am behind this year. most years my dad and I 8-10 done by now. My dad burns 5-7 cords a year and I do about 5-6 cord.

i've got 1 stacked. one split that needs to be stacked. two more coming already split. and got 2 to 2.5 in rounds waiting to be split and stacked.

come on....Eric??? Ya gotta weigh in here!!! is it 20...30 cords??
