Many thanks for posting this KC. It brings back many memories. Sad this is the last one.

Also, looking at the carriage rider this is a shotgun carriage. To see those in action is almost unbelievable! That is, the speed is incredible. I have done many of those jobs listed (but not at a steam operated mill and also not using a band saw but circular saw), including offbearer, edger, carriage rider and sawyer. Seeing these pictures will probably make me dream tonight!
