I know this is a dumb question, but why leave wood in the round?

If it's outdated then that means there's more up to date information. Anybody have it?

For someone to say that burning rounds is "less than optimum" is an unfair statement because they obviously have zero experience with a setup that's designed for that type of wood.

Now if I we're to try burning a 16" round in my old Schrader wood stove that would be a joke. For that stove I do burn splits and small limb wood.
