I like that idea PA Woodsman! That end stack is all HL so it's really pushin out the moisture. Seems like I'm constantly pushin the top few rows back on it. I can't take credit for stacking these!

Is that mulberry in the center?

Yeah that bin is all mulberry

You have some time. That has a way to go before it falls.

Use some heavy object 'sledge or maul' and hit them back into place. That's what I do when my kid is on stacking duty.

That's what I do when I'm on stacking duty, too. I've always used the excuse that oak really seems to shift a lot as it loses moisture and shrinks.

Best get them plumbed now... I walk around the stacks a few times each year, straightening back up errant bins, like this.

I dropped off a few rounds today.....took a split and beat a few stacks back!!

Well 2 went tumbling down this week. Straightened everything up and should be good now. No, no pics...didn't have a camera with me.

I use a tamper 10'' square to straighten out the outer rows.

Got one of those. Will have to give it a try tomorrow. I've been using the bucket on my front end loader, but it's too easy to break cribs or topple stacks, that way.

I just used one of those heavy Honey Locust splits and knocked em back one by one. Better than re-stacking.
