Funny, I was thinking of replacing my 7-yr old Harman with perhaps... an 18--year old F12.
Ended up with a not-so-old F600.
Why switching?
My choices were limited by my wife's (good) taste in cast iron, leaving VC and Jotul as the most likely candidates. But without that consideration, I surely would have leaned strongly to a cat (which is why the F12 was an option). So my recommendation is a big cat like the Progress Hybrid... because of the higher efficiency burning, especially in shoulder season.
