Was 0° f last night, coldest so far. up to 8° at noon.
Nothing new cut for a while, but the stuff out back seasoning is getting "freeze dried" :)

Have burned about a half cord of Silver Maple & Basswood. Just breaking into some Elm in the last few colder days.
I've replaced that with 4-5'ish cords of Red Oak, Honey Locust, Sycamore & Silver Maple >>
Not all stacked yet though.

Frozen solid anyway. Actually lots of drying cracks showing, proving firewood does dry in the winter.
It's to replace what I burn this year, is 15/16 wood.

When I split by hand, this was when I'd do the spruce .
0°f & colder it would split nice ;)
