JOTUL 500 shorter legs- how much shorter are the SHORT legs?

There is a shorter legs option for the Jotul F 500 Oslo.How much shorter are those legs?

And if you have these shorter legs on your Jotul 500 how tall is it now?

IIRC the short leg kit drops the stove height about 2" or 26.5" to the top of the rear vent outlet. @stovelark should be able to verify.

Yes BG. The short leg kit drops height by about 2-1/4 inches (from 28.5 to 26.25) on the Oslo.

Is the short leg kit the standard or an option on the Oslo? Does the short leg kit eliminate the ability to use the ash pan?

Hi Tex, Yes short leg kit is an option. It doesn't affect the operation of the ash pan.
