Jotul C 450 power cord length?

As we await delivery of our C 450 Kennebec CF, it would help me a lot to know the length of the blower cord. I would like to avoid having to pay to have an electrical outlet installed next to the fireplace and am weighing other options such as a short extension cord and cord protecter on the floor.

Most inserts typically are around 6’. I’m for sure on a Jotul though.

Yes, I think it is 6ft and the cord plugs into the insert. The female end is similar to a computer cord plug-in end, so a longer computer cord might be an option too. The outlet on the insert can be configured to the left or right side.

Thank you both for the info. I think with 6' I can avoid an extension cord, though I will need to use an ugly cord cover on the floor to avoid a tripping hazard.

Code or not I dropped mine down the shaft and hard wired it into the back of a 4x4 box with a service switch. This is run off my generator panel. I’d freak out if I had to look at that cord and yes, I agree it’s about 6 feet.
