Hello All,
New member here. Looking to purchase the Jotul Rangley to sit in an existing 130 yr old fireplace.
Reviews look good and I like the option of using it to prep a meal if need be. Any one using the Jotul....any probems or concerns...?

Theres already a few threads about it, try a search. A lot of people opt for the F45 or 55 instead though. Jotuls are solid, its just a little gimmicky unless you use it to cook all the time.

Yep, the Rangeley only makes sense when you want the top-loading/wintergrill feature. Other than that I would recommend the F55 instead, as it has a bigger firebox for the same price. That said, the few owners here who posted their impressions of the F50 seem pretty pleased. It sounds like you are making a good choice.
