hello all- posting this here only after having tried to find it on various pex manufacturers & vendors sites and using Google searches, and coming up empty- so I am hoping that someone here can point me in helpful directions

I know that various types and sizes of piping have actual inside and outside diameters that don't match the "nominal" diameter used to describe and refer to them

can anyone point me to the actual inside diameters of "1.25" and "1.5" Wirsbo PEX?

thanks very much

I am 98% certain that Wirsbo uses OD dimensioning on their larger pipes.

Specs are here: (broken link removed to http://www.uponor-usa.com/Header/Service/For-Professionals/Tech-Documents/Specifications-and-Submittals.aspx)

(I'm having issues with Acrobat right now, so I can't read the files to tell you for certain)

thanks very much Joe- at the moment, my computer is having indigestion with those files, too, so it's not just you

I am heading out the door and will try again later

i've run 1 1/4 pex for part of my system. it basically makes up my primary loop. I leave the boiler with 1 1/2 reduce to 1 1/4 iron travel through the barn and go underground to 1 1/4 rehau insulpex, change to 1 1/4 copper, and then return in reverse fasion back to boiler. after closer inspection, and pulling out the tape measure, i wish i would have ran 1 1/2 pex. measurements are as follows 1 1/4 iron = appx 1 5/16 inside. my 1 1/4 rehau pex = 1 1/16 inside. hope this helps. I actually went and measured scrap pieces.

side note: bought my underground at CC allis in PA i feel i got a really good price! and they let me borrow the crimp tool!!
