Thanks! I totally missed this. I was looking on line and at the big box stores and I was not impressed. My store has 6 in stock and I will be getting one tomorrow. $19.99. BTW, my basement seems to stay pretty cool. Do people run their stoves all year round to take the chill off?

I run my stove when the house gets cold in the house (thermostat is set for 67*). However, my basement stove gets put away in April or May. I have run my main floor stove as late as June 28th (in 2015) and Jun 12-14 (2019, 2021 & 2023) to at least take the chill off. In 2015, we had a really cold end of June and the stove ran several times for a couple of days.

When it is cold (40's), dark and rainy, the house gets cold. But, since I had a mini split put in, I tend to use that for heat if needed. This year I'll be using the P43 (main floor) until we quit having rainy weather on weekends. I need to do a final clean and plug up the exhaust/OAK, but only do that during dry and not-too-humid weather. Another stormy weekend is in store, so that is another week that it will be ready if needed.

The P43 hasn't run since Sunday morning and may, or may not run again before being put away.
