My 12x24 lean too about 8 feet tall stash of black locust barely touched. I only use it when it gets in single digit temps.

I do the same here with both Locust and hickory. I find more locust over hickory but hoard them both, burning them only during very cold spells. I have 6 old growth black locust all standing close to my house. Their are some large mushrooms growing out of them. One has large woodpecker holes in one about 35-40' up. They're kinda scary in the sense I don't look forward to climbing them. One has got to be about 6' in dia at the base. Plenty of great firewood already on the homestead. Just needs processing.
