Question:

Hello again and thanks for a great site, I feel very welcome when I am browsing around!

Do you have any specifications on a Timberline wood stove, BTU output, clearances etc? It is a two door model with an eight inch flu.

Is a stove pipe brand "Max 2100" mean anything? It is made in Canada and seems pretty reasonable at Lowe's. An eight inch diameter X3feet section= is $78.

Answer:

That chimney will be fine. It is made by a major and reputable manufacturer (GSW).

That stove is quite old and no literature will be available about it. You'll have to hold to the "generic" clearances specified by local or other codes..usually 36" with no protection on the walls and 50% closer with protection.
