Here's one for you all, and might relate to pellets/corn as well.
I have a gas stove with output settings from 15000 to 30000 BTU. Obviously if I run it at the lower setting it fires longer to bring the room up to the shutoff temp. I do have a 1 speed blower on the unit. So the question is - does it make any difference to the amount of heat in the room per CF of gas whether I have a short burn at a high setting or a long burn at a low setting?
If you can try to justify the answer with some logic or maybe even an equation that would be helpful.
