Actually its three of them, white oaks. His grandpa needed them cut down, and he making some money. Enough to buy himself that Husqvarna 372xp. And lots of firewood.

It been a long time since I have seen anybody actually use a bow saw.

thats actually a 415. Thats my saw. And its a beast for being the smallest of that Pro series.
I helped him out a little bit. I'd rather he stuck to the bar saw.

It been a long time since I have seen anybody actually use a bow saw.

I've got about 10 of them. I grew up on them as a kid. They seem to have been popular here in Virginia back then. Here are some of my good running bow saws. A 245A, 5200, 3400, and the Stihl I havent used yet...need to get a chain for it.
