My wood stacks from above

I haven't posted here in a while because I've been to busy. Two weeks ago I finally finished my splitting, stacking and cleanup much later then I would have liked to. Last weekend I was out playing with my new toy and snapped this picture. I should have at least a 3-1/2 to 4 year supply on hand. These stacks are almost all at least 5' high.

Now the question is, what type of toy do you have that gives aerial photos?

I bought a DJI phantom 2 vision+ quadcopter last month.

Why on earth don't you push those pallets together and stack in rows? Corners are the hardest part.

I've stacked that way before, and it does provide great airflow, as each row is alternated like corners.

Those stacks are squared off so nicely.

Exactly, I was noticing some of my 3 year + dried wood was not quite up to snuff in the middle of the stacks so I started leaving a gap between pallets and so far it has worked out well for me.
