Need help with my wood hauler

I need ideas on how to attach the corners together. I want to be able to remove the railings quickly. Thanks in advanced for any ideas.

Quick brainstorming...
You could put a 2x2 inside each corner. Bolt your railings to them, but use wing nuts for half of the job.
Or put some eye bolts through your railings so they line up in the corners, then use carabiniers or bolts to hold the eyes together.

A couple set of the hardware that's used to attach bed rails could work nicely. Very strong but easily disassembled joint. Probably the most expensive way to go though. Could probably also use some of those hook-and-eye or bolt style door latches as well.

I had thought about the 2 by 2s but wasn't sure how I wanted to attach them. I like the wing nut idea. I might go that route. Thanks for the suggestion.

Attach one part of the hinge on one gate so it will swing over and lock with a twist on the next gate. Then you don't have any removeable parts to lose when you dismantle it

I would use 90° hardware braces with bolts (removable). Be careful loading it too full with wood; the top of the rails will be too much.

I think I found the hardware I want. I saw a returnable crate at work today with this hardware on it. The company only sales complete crates not just the hardware.

Steel "L" brackets. Not the cheap stamped ones you get at Lowes but something bent out of flatstock steel. When the wood gets busted up you can unbolt the L bracket and replace the rail. You can bolt to the inside or outside of the two rails.

If you want them removable I would do the following.
Use a 2x2 in the corners and then drill holes and use Hitch pins like these

That way its quick to remove

Large door hinges would work as well. Put the bolts facing out and use wingnuts to tighten them down

No problem, you might be able to find them even cheaper. That was just the first link that came up on Google.

A set of regular door hinges with removable pins put then on the inside of the corners. To take apart just remove the pins. That's what the trailer I got from my Dad after he passed had on it. He used it for years and now it's working hard at our place. I will post a picture in the am if I remember.
