We finished our basement with a gas rough-in for a future fireplace. It is clear to me that I will need to have a frame built before an authorized dealer will install.
1. Who should I contact to properly build the frame? A builder?
2. What all will the fireplace dealer install? What will they not install?
3. We are looking at a Napoleon LV50. Can fireplaces like this be installation in the middle of a wall? We want it to be eye level in a seated position.

Thanks, Lee

Contact places that sell gas fireplaces and ask them how much of the install they do. Some just do the appliance others do the whole thing.

I for example do everything but the gas line.
