Ok...enough lurking on this forum...time to post.

When I start my Prescott EXL, and after the combustion fan kicks in, there is a loud rattling sound. After the stove warms up a while, the noise eventually fades away and runs as normal. I had the right panel open when I started one day and believe it is the combustion fan making the noise. I have used can air to blow out any dust that may have settled in there. I am reluctant to oil the fan since the manual mentions that oiling is not required.

Do you think the fan is going, or could a drop or two of 3-in-1 oil help the problem?

Great site and forum...

Thanks.
