Just bought a new house that came with a Thelin Parlour 3000 in the living room and a Timberwolf TPS35 in the family room. The 3000 looks beautiful, but makes so much noise, we don't use it. The Timberwolf is much quieter and we use it all day long. I suspect (based on other things around the house) that little or no maintenance was done to the 3000. Do you think that cleaning the fan/motor might resolve the noise issue? If not, does anyone know if I can buy replacement parts myself (without being an authorized stove dealer)? Thanks!

WELCOME Lucky-Joey!

A good cleaning would be a great start. Also download the manual if you don't have one and give it a read. You can download it from the link below. You can buy the fan and most parts on line as well. Here is a link from one place on the east coast that sells Thelin parts to start you off. If the fan motor has an oil port, you might be able to bring it back to life. Fines from the pellets really cause havoc with any pellet fan. At least you only have one motor in the Thelin that does both combustion and convection. Good luck.
