im going to sell more then I normally do fall 2025Good lord that's a lot of wood (8-10 cords?). That would be my 3 year supply.
Going to kiln it? What are you getting price wise with the kilned stuff?im going to sell more then I normally do fall 2025
Agreed on the sassafras for couple logs. Personally I think that’s great, terrific kindling wood for all that dense oak. Of course it’s a picture and I could be dead wrong.1 or 2 on the top have bark that looked similar to sassafras. That's a nice pile to start working on. Don't forget your tick clothes.
I feel you on this. Almost as frustrating as folks wanting to charge an arm and a leg for "oak" which ends up being basswood or willow. But hey it's a big tree so it must be oak right?Trying to get some free ash but guy won’t respond to the ad he posted on marketplace 🤷🏻♂️
Oh and even a light maul should split most of that. If it's too knotty for the light maul than it stays there. Not worth the effort.
Thanks bigalta I forgot what woodchuck shape is!! Whew. Monster maul and elbow grease. Free oak two more truckloads waiting available
