Hey guys when you load you're secondary burn stoves do you load medium splits on the bottom and then bigger rounds close to the burn tubes, or the opposite? Just wondering what you've found burns better and longer? Or does it matter? Thanks for all the help.

I do bigger on the bottom, provided I have a nice bed of coals and I am sure the splits are dry and will ignite without a huge delay, if they are so so then medium ones, get them going good and then my bigger splits

It doesn't matter to me. Usually I shove the big ones in north/south and then fill in the gaps with smaller ones right up to the burn tubes!
