Overflow on post

Is there a reason some posts run way to the right and you need to scroll over to read. Is there a setting to avoid this?

Sorry but I posted in wrong forum and just found an answer to my question

Good question. I assumed it was because the poster has a "Panavision" or similar super wide monitor and the forum stretched itself out to suit.

To my knowledge it is because someone posts a link, embeds a photo, or has a signature wider than the screen - that makes the whole thread run wide.
