So, I was going thru photos dumped off my phone, trying to sort them for safe keeping on the hard drive. I don't have much to say about them, but I thought some might be enjoyed here.

Yes, that's my little Huskee 22 ton buried in the snow, in the last photo.

Well at least the splitter is covered. Like the photos.

That monster snow blower. Drool...

That splitter was completely buried most of the winter, and encased in solid ice for weeks after our big ice storm. No splitting was done all winter!

C'mon guys... some of you must have some interesting photos on your phones. Let's see em.

Nice Deere Joful. Wish I could put a FEL on mine. Always good pics from you.

Ok Joful I have some pics to look at.

Thanks.

I will be going back again this year to Yellowstone on another elk trip. It is rough but the views are really something.

You guys are living the life, one day I'll hope to get to the point of where your at.

Mag - you even had to swirl the bar. Nice touch.;)

I throw pics out so often that I probably don't have many you folks haven't seen.

Good pictures

Here are my main three stacking areas. I let it dry about 2 - 3 years and burn most in the outdoor furnace. I use some for the stove - usually put the smaller splits on the edges or thin rows. The big furnace wood gets stacked 3 or 4 pallets wide..

I cut a lot in fall and did a lot of splitting this winter. Cold, but worked fast. I made use of the slow winter at work. It is always a good feeling looking at 30 cords of wood stacked up in spring after the coldest winter of my lifetime. The cool part is most of it is close to the house and split. The rest is stacked and easy access after the corn is picked.

Only problem I have is after being on this site I keep looking around at the dead elms and fallen oaks on our land that are waiting for me to come harvest them. I am getting obsessed as my wife puts it with cutting wood.

I did a couple of bars with the swirls just for the fun of it.

I have been working on clearing the dead ash trees in my yard.. Here is the progress of removing some and a video of my cable set up ... The last tree is being left for a pro, a wood pecker has gone to town on it.
