Feeling the Heat

A friend picked them up for me while I was at the dentist. The place selling them asked me what kind of stove I had, I told him and he continued telling me he was at some heating/stove conference and the Harman rep told him that these are the brand they recommend. I think maybe he was trying to BS a BSer.

I had a couple bags last year to try, they burned well, not a lot of ash but more than the Hamers. 225/ton figuring these will be used in the beginning and save the hamers for when it gets colder.

I have noticed that while the bags weigh the same, the Hamers bag has less in it by volume as the buckets I carry them in with I can get 2.5 buckets from most pellets I have used but about the Hamers give me about 2.3 buckets to a bag, could be wood type or that they seem to be smaller in length making them take up less space.

Any way, not sure I have ever seen anyone with these on here.

Is that the same as this? The above photo is what I got from tractor supply last year. used 4 tons. Ash was better then o'malleys and the cleanest of all the brands I tried that year. Temp seemed ok. Everything I tried burned at the same temp.

pellets are sold by weight, not volume. More dense pellets= less 'size' per 40lb bag.
