Anybody ever use a powerhorse chainsaw from northern tool? I am looking for a friend who does not have a lot of cash but needs a bigger saw than his 14" poulan.

I would think he'd do well looking at the used saw market. ;-)
 
The problem with a cheap piston & cylinder is holding compression for any length of time. I'm with MM on a good used saw, Randy
