Well, you should get a little longer burn time if you burn hardwood and not soft wood in it. Definitely avoid wood with high moisture content...not sure how easy the chimney will clean.
Do you know what kind of chimney liner it would be connected to? Thanks.

ya but you will be really warm after a bit . I think I would recomend keeping a suite on standby at the local inn.
