I was taking some pics this morning and figured after seeing all of the recent picture perfect stacks of wood I might as well show off my ugly (but perfectly functional) wood stacks.

Picture of my "emptied" woodshed with the ugly looking shingle job (which you cannot see . . . but trust me, it's ugly as it has different colored shingles as I used what I had and bought a few of whatever color was available) . . . I did put some wood into it this Spring (wood that has been seasoning outside for a couple years now). In another few weeks I'll most likely move some more wood that has been outside inside . . . where it will sit until 2013-2014.

Here are my ugly stacks . . . and an ugly propane tank which I use to heat my domestic hot water and run my range.

And here are a couple piles of ugly looking splits that I split up yesterday since I was home due to Patriot's Day . . . as you can see I didn't finish the splitting since I was getting tired . . . probably due to the fact I was splitting horizontally.
