I'm wandering what I'm suppost to place this. Refractory Insulation I have a model 2000 hearth wood stove. I can seem to locate eny info on placement in the pdf owners manual nor can I find eny pictures of correct placement

What brand of stove is it? If you are talking about soft fiber insulation and the stove has a hard fiber board baffle, the soft stuff goes on top of it. But not far enough back to block the flue outlet from the firebox.

Country Hearth 2000? If so the refractory insulation is part #88146. It looks like there is only the insulation baffle board and it sits on top of the secondary tubes. It should be moved to the back of the stove.

Looks like the refractory baffle board is in place. It should be as far back as it can go. If that is where it is now then you are ok.

Good plan. It's somewhat fragile so push it back gently.
