Given that I now have a chimney liner in, I'm wondering if it is at all feasible to store the wood stove during the summer to use the fireplace for open fires. I have a 6" liner inserted and obviously would not want to remove it. I assume this liner will prevent me from going forward with this idea!
Thanks.

That is correct. The liner is sized for the stove, not the open volume of the fireplace. If you want a summer fire, use the stove. There is a spark screen available for open door burning, part #93-69600.
