I'm having my chimney pipe replaced tomorrow. I wasn't able to afford a professional and an experienced friend is going to do the job. Below are some photos of the current installation, which was done by a professional and I had no problems with it. I'm replacing the pipe because it's rusty. We will use the same configuration.
I'm wondering what things I should be aware of for this job to be done successfully and safely. Any special instructions?
