Rope gasket for Piazzetta Monia

Hello!

I'm new here and a new home owner. The place we bought came with a Piazzetta Monia that we have been using daily this winter in southern Maine. This thing puts out great heat and keeps our 2000 sq ft home toasty in the dead of winter. I need to replace the gasket as I noticed there is a break and some fraying, undoubtedly causing some issues with the efficiency in the combustion chamber (glass is very dirty, grate filling with pellets after around 6 hours of use causing mid day cleanings, etc).

Google is pointing me in the direction of RP00501003. Are there any other options or should I stick with that specific type? I'm also looking for recommendations on adhesive and really any other tips that can be offered for gasket replacement. I watched my father in law replace the gasket on his Harmon but I wasn't sure if there were any specifics I need to worry about with the Monia.

I've uploaded a few pictures to help identify my machine and show the dirty glass. I really appreciate any adivce that can be offered.
