pick up tomorrow.. only fear is the splits are going to be too long for my BK (16-18" recommended).. so may have to trim them a bit, which will be a PITA but still a good deal..

With all the money you're saving you can buy a wider stove:cool:

local on-line estate auction.. I found it because they had a splitter too, but that got too high for my blood.. plus, now I won't need a splitter for a year or two since I already have 2 split cords from using my 5T electric ;) Also picked up a nice poker set, welding gloves, and log rack.. & some other non-fire related stuff..

Another option would be to cut them in half, maybe they would fit N-S then? I'd rather do that than have a bunch of short trimmings...

That would make those welder gloves come in a little handier..

So.. going back for the last trailer full today.. so far 2 full trailer loads (16x8x2.66), a full large truck bed (~7x4.5x3), and a small trailer (4x8x1).. little over a cord was unsplit ash, rest was split/seasoned hickory, maple and ash.. was loosly packed, but will still tally out to 5ish cords.. $200 plus $90 to the guy helping me = sweet! oh, and quite a bit is too long, but using the chainsaw is fun!
