Shed build

Fellas; scrounging the forums here for a while and countless hours looking at the "show us yours" thread, planning a shed all spring. Started this weekend with scrap material from our home construction and some 4x4's and rustic cedar planking from work. Still needs a roof...looking around on Craig's List for used metal.

Dimensions are 12' long, 8' wide, and 8' to 12' sloped shed roof. Stacked well should hold 4 cords. Plenty of gaps and rot holes in the cedar for ventilation. Bringing home the decking today, 6/4" x 6" fir.

So if the wood is already dried and split, isn't the theory to keep it covered and protected from elements? Air will certainly get into this shed, with 1/2" gaps between boards and rot holes in the boards, plus opening along top and bottom.
