mom born on i'sle verte on the st. law. dad with relatives in sheeeeeeeebrook. remember a visit in the mid 50's , we watched a working steam engine go by, my brother and I besides ourselves, we had never seen one off the train table.

Isle Verte is about 300 miles from where I live. I drive passed there every time I go to a larger city center for work, etc.

And the Eastern Townships are damn nice. Sherbrook is a growing city these days. Small world eh?
