So we moved to a house in the country and I was sitting here thinking how I would build my new wood shead and got to thinking abut using solar gain to help dry my wood faster and wondered if any one here had tried it?
There is a guy here that did it with spectacular results, but he used both a solar roof/side thing together with a watertight ground barrier. One hiccup with harnessing solar gain is getting the house so hot water comes out of the ground as vapor into the wood and replaced by more water in the ground under the shed from ground water not under the shed.... you get the idea.
When i think of search terms for the thread title I'll hunt it. Struck out on the first two. It'll come to me, might be a couple days.
