So it was rumored last year that Somersets will not be coming any further east then Ohio this heating season. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that???

For some WEIRD reason they skipped Ct and went to the Cape..........WEIRD!
Maybe it has something to do with the $$$$

Not really. Lowes had many tons in the beginning of last years "buying season"....sold out quickly. I seem to remember a second delivery, but not much after that.
well NORTH of you... Lowes distribution point is in NJ or NY i dont recall so they go there from Somersets plant. then get switched off ON OCCASION to SE Mass

We all know how they get to SE Mass!

Everywhere around me ;)

Sent them an email asking for locations around me (other than the 3 places I know of) and never heard back. Also, never heard from Lignetics, Hamers, Turman, and Country Boy?!!??!?? Thats terrible customer service. Someone should be able to send an email?

At least they are all consistent....lol

Back in 2010?, Lowes sold them in Bloomfield, I got a few tons for $177, have a few bags left, but what I've read Set's sucked last year anyway...time to move on!!

most of the manufacturers forward those emails to the dealers, who are SUPPOSED to get with the customer......now, I don't sell Hamer, Ligs, CB's, but I know Turman and Maine does.......think NEWP does too

Love me some 'Sets!.....hope I can get more this season...although I have around 2.5 tons on hand yet.....

Somersets are hard to beat! They burn hot and they are cheap! I got a ton from Lowes last year. I called and asked if they intended to have more but I was told they don't know what they get until it arrives in store. :(

Not exactly true. The guy who worked in the section of the store that has the stoves went onto his register (computer) and pulled up the deliveries they were getting....he told me pretty much what and when.

That is certainly not surprising. I guess I got someone who didn't know or really didn't care. I have 4 tons of Barefoots which should last me for the whole season, but if I could score a ton of 'Sets, I would be very happy!

God they are so dumb at the Poughkeepsie store:rolleyes:. I hope they show up, hate the thought of using Imacmans primo Greene teams;lol

Lowes is loaded with infernos out here

I've been out of the pellet burning for one season. My parents surprised me with a prebuy in propane... So I didn't have to burn anything... Anyways, what should I be on the lookout for? I heard that last year Geene teams sucked. So are the Inferno's something worth buying into? I checked Bedford, NH lowes and they has some pellets on hand and told me that the Greene teams were going to be there in a week or two. I was going to jump on those but now I'm hesitate from what I reading on the net.

Long Pond - Wauregan, CT has Somersets - call to be placed on the LIST. 860-779-7500

When I see em I'm getting 3 tons full !! Not gonna screw around this year.
