Spacing exterior chimney pipe off wall ideas?

I am doing a through the wall kit and have two rake edge overhangs that I want to clear with the requires 2" of clearance to combustibles that Selkirk requires. Instead of doing elbows around the overhangs I want to space the whole chimney off the wall. I will need to space the initial support 9 & 1/2" off the wall(the part with the 'T' and clean out) and then just two inches off the rake overhangs.

Anybody done this in an attractive way? Care to share some ideas or pictures? I can do it with wood framing and trim it out or get some custom metal brackets fabbed up. Any other ideas?

I just installed Olympia Ventis class A with a 14 inch clearance from my outside wall. It's ugly but after I build a chase and stone that to look like a chimney, it will look better and I didn't have to cut a hole in my eave. Look on www.woodlanddirect.com , I assume that the ventis brackets will fit the Selkirk pipe. I did have to fab up a base to attach the T support to the house.

I used the black gas steel pipe with floor flanges from Menards for my offset. The pipe was 12" and simply screwed (very tightly) to flanges on both ends. I used about 4 coats of Rustoleum metallic spray paint to help prevent rust. I think it turned out okay and saved me money and time from custom metal fabrication.

I wound up using power pole standoffs (the ones with the curved bases) as they were a match to the contour of my log siding. (as well as conduit brackets to then hold something to fasten the chimney bracket to, which in my case was a piece of 2x2 oak)

I know this is an old thread - But is making such T-supports and chimney supports allowed by code?

No this does not meet code, the supports have not been tested and certified for that amount of extension

Nope nothing goes out that far. And honestly I would not want it set out 2' anyway. That is going to make for a really long horizontal run. I would go through the soffit.

Yes ventis makes 14" stand offs. And no you cant use them with Duravent.

With ventis you don't need a tee support you just use the same wall supports.

I said it on your other thread but Iwill repeat it here. I am pretty sure it does not pass code but if you do the extensions well there should be no safety issue and I doubt many inspectors will fail it.
