Stove with windows on both sides?

I have searched lots of places, but it seems stoves are not offered with double sided viewing, is this correct? Is this due to the back being a heat shield / reflector? We are trying to retrofit a stove into an existing two sided fireplace and would love to be able to see the flames from either side.
