We had hurricane Fiona come through here a few of years ago (I was not here yet). Many trees got blown over.
This stump was here when I moved in. Too big a job to handle on my own. Even with the tractor he was here for
almost three hours.

I rented a manual stump grinder. It was effective on small trees, but after four hours I could barely move.

I strongly recommend using a tractor mounted stump grinder or a dedicated strum grinder.

That one looks like it did a great job!

I think he did a great job. He gave me a quote last year. I called him early in the spring and asked for a slightly better price as I didn't
really care about the lawn or if it was still frozen. We made the deal and he called this morning. He got caught in some pretty good rain.
The going was tough. It was a big Maple and the whole house was shaking. The tractor stalled about 20 times at least. He took all the debris away and finished with a rake. He is my guy from now on. Good to see a guy doing proper work. No way I could have done it.
