Final pic from yesterday's outing and flurry of pic posting. This is a beech tree growing in the same wet weather creek bed area where I took the "help me id this, please" pics of the potential ash tree. I'm not sure how tall this one is, but if you look closely you can see my 10 yr old next to it. There are three beech trees along that creek bed, and they are all about this size.
