I got a text message this afternoon from a co-worker. She had a large branch cut down from her Oak tree and asked if I wanted it. Heck yeah!

Not a ton, but it's the first load of Oak I've had.

In Iowa, who knows.
In Michigan, mine requires at least 2 years to be gooder to go.
I've burned newish cut Oak, and won't do it again. It's a wonder I'm still burning after doing that for 2 years.
