Cleaned it while still warm (21 hrs). Razer and damp paper towels dipped in ash. Still had coals to restart. Works fine.

It’s a little spooky the first time you put a razor blade to the glass. Afraid to scratch it. Some sort of lube like windex or something wet makes a big difference when sliding that blade across the glass.

Yes. Keep it wet with windex or a cheap version of it.

I've had a blade on more glass than I care to remember.
