These questions are in reference to a Timberline wood stove with double doors.
When you look inside the front doors of the wood stove you can see a metal plate laying across a few inches from the top of the stove. Is this the baffle?
It appears to be curved in the rear and is following the curve of a track that is also slightly curved. Is this plate supposed to be straight across in the front or bowed to match the rear side? Does anyone have a picture of how this plate should look?
The plate does not really wiggle or seem to come out easily so if this plate does need to be replaced or straightened could some one tell me how to remove it. I do not have a manual for this stove so any help would be appreciated. It is a great stove and really heats the whole home even though it is located in the basement.
Thanks,
Jerry
